Game Rules

Some of the rules of Hallway Wars, you will learn as you go along. Some of them, we give you up-front. Generally speaking, here is what is allowed and not allowed:

Allowed

• Clicking on your own link
• Clicking on your officers' links
• Posting your link on message boards where it is allowed and is on-topic.
• Emailing your link to your friends or sending it to them on instant messenger.
• Having people click your link more than once (but not within 24 hours).
• Having an Alliance of HWW players.
• Having your link in your AIM/MSN/ICQ etc. profile.
• Posting your link on a personal website.

Not Allowed

• Attempting to hack the server or abusing security holes.
• ONLY ONE ACCOUNT per person. Having more than one account because you have more than one computer or because a friend registered an account and gave it to you is cheating.
• Sharing passwords with other people and logging into accounts that are not yours.
• Posting your link on a forum where it is against that forum's policies or off-topic
• Repeatedly refreshing pages to slow the server.
• Using a script/program or ANY AUTOMATED PROCESS.
• Using proxy servers to generate fake hits.
• Using scripts that fetch information off the HWW website.
• Coordinating selling weapons with scheduled attacks from allies (also known as "Selling Off")
• Using, or taking any action while logged into, any account that isn't yours. It doesn't matter if the true owner of the account is sitting on your lap as you type. Signing into, using, or playing in any account that does not belong to you is expressly forbidden.
• Allowing someone else to perform actions on and/or with your account while logged into your account
